In my second year of university I acted as the campaign manager for Scott Johnston’s bid to become President of the University of Liverpool Guild of Students.
Although we didn’t win, we polled in the upper quartile of applicants (6th position where the top 4 were elected) and we only lost by a narrow margin.
Although I doubt i’ll be exploring the possibility of a political managerial career any time soon, it was incredibly interesting and fun to manage.
We created this youtube video which was published via Facebook ads. The cost per 3-second view was £0.001 meaning it got to the stage where we ran out of students at the university on Facebook to market to!
